In addition to GP consultations the Practice offers a comprehensive range of clinics and healthcare services:
Heart disease prevention
Our Practice provides comprehensive health checks including smoking cessation, healthy eating, alcohol consumption, blood pressure checks, exercise advice and cholesterol screening. This test is available once in every 5 years to patients aged between 40yrs to 74yrs. Appointments are systematically sent out for these checks. You will be asked to come for a fasting blood test first and then be given an appointment to see the nurse following that.
It is a very worth while check as it detects certain conditions that you may not be aware of.
