When We Are Closed
If you need an urgent appointment when the GP practice is closed you should contact NHS 111. For minor conditions Pharmacists within the community are able to give advice and treatment.
These services are for non emergency conditions only.
Call 111 or use 111 online if
-
You need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency.
-
You think you need to go to A&E or need another NHS urgent care service.
-
You don't know who to call or you don't have a GP to call.
-
You need health information or reassurance about what to do next
NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.
Please do not ask to use out of hours unless you cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Immediate action required: Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
