Phones line issues - Lostock Hall sites Posted or Updated on 15 Feb 2022

We have noted some concerns from patients trying to contact some of our surgeries, particularly Lostock Hall Village Surgery and Medicare, by phone.

Firstly, we would like to apologise if any of our patients have had difficulties calling us as providing you with an efficient service is our absolute priority.

Secondly, we would advise that when we took over the Medicare facility, we were aware that a major modernisation programme of all aspects of the operation was required.

This included upgrading the phone lines to ensure a swift and efficient response to callers.

We are currently engaged with this task and in the near future we are scheduled to bring in a new phone system which will ensure the above aim is fulfilled.

In the mean time, we are endeavoring to operate our existing system as efficiently as possible until the new system comes into operation.
