Alarm - Buckshaw H/Centre Posted or Updated on 14 Aug 2025

The practice has received complaints from local residents relating to an alarm that is sounding from the Buckshaw Village Health Centre first floor. 

The Buckshaw Village Health Centre is a multi-occupancy building that is shared with the MyDentist Group and Lancashire Care Foundation Trust.  The practice does not own the premises.

The premises are leased from NHS Property Services – who are the accountable organisation for building maintenance and faults.

The alarm is sounding from the first floor Plant Room – based within the Dental area.  The room services the whole building – and the fault was reported to NHS Property Services on the first day of it sounding.

We are aware of active work to resolve the issue.   Should any residents wish to raise concerns or complaints – please can we ask that these are not directed to the practice – but are directed to NHS Property Services.
