New Blood Pressure Machine at our Buckshaw site Posted or Updated on 14 Mar 2023

We are pleased to advise that we now have a Blood Pressure Cuff Machine at our Buckshaw Village Surgery site.

All patients from any of our practices who have received a text to have a blood pressure check are able to come to the Buckshaw site to use the machine.

No appointment is required.

You can just walk in and use the machine which is located in the waiting room area and is easy to operate with simple instructions displayed.

Once you have used the machine, it will produce a ticket with your reading on it, and all you need to do is add your name and address in the space indicated on the back of the ticket and place it in the box provided.

This will then be processed by our staff and added to your patient record, where it will be assessed and if a further appointment is required, you will be contacted in the usual way for an appointment to be made.

If you prefer a member of our clinical staff to take your blood pressure reading, you can still do this. All you need to do is call us and we will make an appointment for you.
