Covid Vaccination Programme - Important Update Posted or Updated on 15 Feb 2022

You may have noticed from national media reports that there has been a marked rise in Covid infection levels across the country.

We would therefore urge everyone who has not had their first or second jab to come forward to receive it and also ask all those eligible to have their booster jab.

Our vaccination hub at Jubilee House, Centurion Way, Leyland PR26 6TR is offering both initial jabs anyone over 16 and is also offering the booster jab to those aged 50 plus, front line health care workers and those aged 16-49 with those underlying health conditions agreed by NHS England and JCVI along with adult household contacts of immunosuppressed individuals.

The clinics are open as usual from 8am to 8pm – closed for lunch 1pm-2pm – from Wednesday to Saturday, and you can make appointments via the NHS app or call as a walk-in, though please note last walk-in 7.40pm.

Please note there MUST be at least a six month gap between your second jab and booster so check the date of your second jab before making an appointment or calling as a walk-in.

If you are housebound or unable for any reason to attend for your jab at Jubilee House, please let us know your details and we will then contact you when a home visit can be arranged.

We are also carrying out our annual flu vaccination programme in conjunction with our Covid vaccination programme.

Due to supply issues, we are contacting eligible registered patients via text with invitations for their annual jabs so please only attend Jubilee House for an annual flu jab if you have booked via one of these text invitations.
