Welcome to the latest of our weekly newsletters. We regard it as a priority that all our patients are kept fully informed of all developments at Buckshaw Village Surgery, Croston and Adlington Medical Centres, our sites at Lostock Hall and on matters affecting former Eaves Lane Surgery patients. We hope these regular updates will continue to prove useful.
Travel Vaccinations
As the pandemic eases and travel overseas opens up, we expect to see more patients requesting travel vaccinations.
We are making appointments available for this and patients requiring such vaccinations are asked to download a request form from our website at www.nmhealthinnovations.co.uk. You can find it by clicking the marked section on the left of the site’s home page.
Once completed, please click the ‘submit’ button and the form will come through to your chosen site.
Alternatively, you can pick up a hard copy from any of our surgeries and drop it off at reception.
Once received, one of our nurses will then check it and get back to you to advise if vaccinations are needed and if so, which ones, and will make an appointment for you.
Please note the form must be handed in at least eight weeks before the date of travel.
More info is available on our website but please call us if you require anything clarifying.
Annual flu jabs and Covid jabs
We are now offering annual flu jabs to all eligible patients aged 65 or under and we have vaccination clinics scheduled at surgeries across our group.
Attendance at these clinics is by appointment only so please call us on our usual number 01772 376600 to book your jab.
Our clinics are regular and there is plenty of choice for appointment times so please do not hesitate to come forward and book your slot.
Annual flu jabs are also available at our vaccination hub at Jubilee House, Centurion Way, Leyland PR26 6TR, and you may attend this site as a walk-in.
In addition, we are continuing to offer first, second and booster Covid jabs at Jubilee House. Please see previous newsletter for details of eligibility conditions and opening hours.
Please call the designated NHS Covid line on 119 rather than our surgeries if you have any Covid related queries, unless you’re housebound and require a home visit for a jab, in which case please call your own surgery.
