Covid Vaccination Programme - update Posted or Updated on 15 Feb 2022

As promised, here is the latest update on the above programme.

There is a Covid vaccination clinic taking place at our designated vaccination site Buckshaw Village Surgery today, Thursday, February 18.

Please be advised that this clinic is completely booked up and no vacant slots will be available at any time today.

However, we would like to advise all our patients that the programme is continuing as swiftly as possible.

Our next vaccination clinic will be taking place very shortly and eligible patients will soon be invited for their Covid vaccination via SMS or letter.

We are also preparing to commence second dose vaccines in early March.

Patients who have already had their first vaccination will be contacted for their second appointment via SMS or letter.

Further to our previous message, we would also confirm that NHS England have decided to direct different patient groups to regional mass vaccination centres and some patients will soon receive an invitation by letter to book at one of these centres rather than at Buckshaw Village Surgery.

If you are unable to attend the mass vaccination centre or would prefer to have your vaccination administered at Buckshaw Village Surgery then please contact us.

We will continue to provide further updates on the programme via the website and our Facebook page immediately that any further information is to hand so patients are encouraged to check our website regularly.

We would like to thank all our patients for their support.
