Covid Vaccination Programme - Important Message Posted or Updated on 15 Feb 2022

As many of you are aware, we are proceeding as swiftly and safely as possible with our Covid vaccination programme and our Buckshaw Surgery site has been dedicated to the vaccine rollout until further notice.

In order to help facilitate this process and to ensure as many of our patients as possible are vaccinated as quickly as possible, we would ask that you note the following.

The vaccination programme is being carried out by category in line with Government guidelines, and every patient will be contacted by us as soon as an appointment becomes available for them.

With this in mind, we would politely request that patients do not contact us by phone or email to request appointment times as this increases the administration time and may hinder the speed of the vaccine rollout.

Please be assured that you will be contacted as soon as your category is being dealt with and a vaccine slot becomes available.

Our phone lines remain available for any particular and specific concern you may have in respect of the Covid vaccine and the phone line also remains open as normal for non-Covid Buckshaw Surgery inquiries such as appointments and prescriptions.

However, patients are advised that email inquiries specifically about Covid vaccine appointments hinder the speed of the operation so we would be extremely grateful if these could be avoided if possible.
