Urgent: Service affected by storm damage Posted or Updated on 15 Feb 2022

We would advise that storm damage this morning, Wednesday, December 8, affected our computers and booking systems and also our phone system at our Buckshaw Village Surgery and Adlington Medical Centre sites.

Unfortunately, this meant we were for a short time unable to book appointments and check patient records on our system so our service at both of these sites was severely limited.

IT engineers set to work immediately on addressing the issue and have restored the service which is now operating as normal.

However, we appreciate this has caused problems for patients earlier this morning and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
