FLU and RSV Posted or Updated on 4 Sep 2024

RSV -  RSV- Respiratory syncytial virus

The practice is now offering RSV vaccinations. This will be offered for Pregnant patients and those over 75 years of age. You should receive a text message to book your appointment. These can be booked directly from the message that you will receive or you can contact the practice.

These groups have been selected due to the health complications that can be caused by RSV.

For 75 years and over - for this age group the vaccine cannot be adminstered at the same time as Flu or Covid so it is essential that the vaccine be done in September to allow you time to get the Flu and Covid jabs.

For those Pregnant patients - the vaccine can be administered alongside the flu vaccine.
