Bank Holiday Weekend Surgery Opening
All our surgery sites will be closed on May Bank Holiday Monday, May 6.
All sites reopen on Tuesday, May 7 with normal hours ie phone lines reopen 8am, doors 8.30am. Our normal enhanced service will be operating this Saturday, May 4 ie pre-booked appointments only.
Bank Holiday Monday Pharmacy Opening
Please find below opening times and locations of local pharmacies which we have been advised are open on the coming May Bank Holiday Monday, May 6.
We have included pharmacies lying just outside our area as these may be more convenient for some patients.
Other pharmacies may be open but haven’t advised us but please call beforehand if they are not on the list.
Asda Pharmacy, Eastway, Fulwood PR2 9NP. 10am-4pm.
Boots Pharmacy, Market Walk, Chorley PR7 1DB. 10am-4pm.
Asda Pharmacy, Skelmersdale WN8 6LA. 10am-4pm.
Holiday Vaccinations
If you require holiday vaccinations or think you may need them, please note you must submit a request form at least eight weeks in advance of your departure date.
You can access the form on our website at www.nmhealthinnovations.co.uk
Just click the tab marked ‘Services’ on the bar at the top of the home page, then choose ‘Clinics and Services’ and scroll to the bottom of the list where you then click on ‘Travel Vaccination and Travel Advice.’
Please then complete the online form and click the ‘submit’ button. If you have no internet access, please pick up a hard copy from your surgery & drop off at reception.
When the form is received, one of our nurses will get back to you to advise if vaccinations are needed and if so, which ones, and will make an appointment for you.
Covid Booster Vaccinations
Please could all patients note we are not offering the Spring Covid Booster vaccination at any of our surgeries.
If you are in an eligible category you will have been contacted by NHS England and you can make an arrangement to receive the vaccine.
Eligible patients for this vaccination are those aged 75 or over or who are residents in a care home for older adults.
If you fall into these categories, book your jab via the National Booking System by calling 119 or by logging onto the online system, which you can do via this link.
If you have not been contacted, you will not be eligible and please note eligibility criteria is different from the Autumn 2023 jabs.
We are offering the Covid vaccination service at Ryan Medical Centre in Bamber Bridge and all patients who are eligible have now been contacted.
Staff at the centre will be able to answer any further queries when you attend for their jab.
